The Ponale Path (also known as the Ponale Road) is an absolute icon of Lake Garda: an ancient route carved into the rock between 1848 and 1851, offering spectacular views overlooking the waters of Lake Garda. It is one of the most beloved and popular trails in Europe, appreciated for both its historical and scenic value.
The vegetation is Mediterranean, with cypress trees and holm oaks growing among the sheer rock faces. With its rock-hewn tunnels and hairpin bends overlooking the lake, the Ponale was considered an engineering masterpiece of its time.

Discover hidden gems near Riva del Garda. The tour begins at the Varone Waterfall Park, a private area where the waterfall can be admired from multiple viewpoints. Walking through a 15-meter tunnel, you will reach the heart of the mountain to witness the impressive 90-meter drop of water.
The excursion continues to the charming village of Tenno, famous for its alpine lake. Also known as the “Blue Lake” due to its crystal-clear turquoise waters, this pristine lake can only be reached on foot via a picturesque medieval stone staircase.
